Susanne Eugster, President, Director & Co-Founder
Susanne is instrumental in developing Creative Western from the beginning on in 1993. She is a "people’s person" and loves the challenge to give guests the opportunity to experience the best value of an unforgettable holiday, incentive or business travel.
Susanne is responsible for product design and development, marketing and sales in general but specifically in Europe and South America. She speaks English, German and French and has good conversational knowledge in Spanish. She graduated in Switzerland with a Bachelor in Business Administration and in Calgary with a Bachelor in General Studies. Together with her husband she emigrated from Switzerland to Canada in 1988 and has dual citizenship in Canada and Switzerland since 1992.
| Ignaz Eugster, Director, Financial Advisor & Co-Founder
Ignaz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in organizational development and management through his 30 years of experience as a financial advisor and business owner. His desire for a more adventurous lifestyle created the momentum to immigrate to Canada together with his wife in 1988. His extensive business experience and his network of contacts in Europe are most valuable for Creative Western.
| Kim Lu, Business Marketing & Sales
Kim has plenty of experience when it comes to travel and the tourism industry. She holds a Tourism Degree from the University of Calgary and has been working in the tour and travel sector for more than 8 years. Traveling is a passion for Kim and she has traveled extensively in the last 10 years. It is through work and play that Kim has developed extensive product and industry knowledge in the tourism field. Kim is responsible for sales and marketing to the Meeting/Convention and Incentive Market.
| David L. Day, Guide
Dave is our Naturalist and Interpretive Guide for the Wildlife Viewing programs in the Rockies. Born in England Dave spent his formative years growing up in Laval, Quebec. He is a geographer holding degrees from Sir George Williams University in Montreal, and the University of Calgary. As a Partner and Senior Environmental Consultant for the Calgary based firm, Iris Environmental Systems, he has been providing for the last nine years environmental consulting services to the private sector in mountain environments in Alberta and British Columbia, specializing in environmental impact mitigation in ski area and other resort developments. Dave is a past Superintendent of the Rideau Canal and Banff National Park and a founder of the Association for Mountain Parks Protection and Enjoyment with its dedication to sustainable developments in mountain parks and natural areas. What a way to share that tremendous knowledge of and appreciation for the Rocky Mountain life zones, and for the challenges faced in their management and protection with our guests.
| Neil MacLaine, Guide
Neil is our main partner for horseback riding backcountry trips in the Kananaskis Country in Alberta. At the same time we have been working together during the winter season for survival programs. Neil has a tremendous knowledge and experience in the outdoors through his activities as survival instructor in the Canadian Forces. Neil’s love for the Canadian wilderness has taken him on numerous adventurous undertakings across Canada, including over 2000 miles of canoeing and dozens of mountaineering expeditions.
| Alma Bernasconi
Alma is a magician by profession and works with schools and at private functions. Never taking life and people too serious but with an intense desire to be around them and make them happy, guiding has become an integral part of her life. Having a family and being a mother of three, she is guiding shorter trips. Her language skills are in English, German and Swiss.
