Personal Guide Service: Heli, Horseback & Hiking in Hana

Imagine this:
First your private helicopter will fly you to Haleakala Crater for a bird’s eye view of this geological wonder. They will make sure you get plenty of pictures before continuing to the rainforests and waterfalls that made Hana famous. The combination of these two is one of MEA's favorites!

After your flight, touch down in Hana to meet up with your guides waiting with a continental breakfast and freshly ground coffee to sip on while they brief you on the rest of the day.

You will enjoy a short drive through tropical canopy to meet your paniolo (cowboy) guide for an educational ride through Hawaiian history. Your guide will teach you about the history of the Hana area and the original Hawaiian cowboys (paniolo) as you enjoy the amazing views of the ocean below and the rainforest above.

By now you will probably be getting hungry, so enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out on a five-mile round trip hike into Ohe o ka po (the bamboo of the night) to stretch the legs, view some amazing waterfalls, giant bamboo forests and maybe even take a little swim. Of course, after the hike you will have cold drinks and snacks waiting back at your chariot while you enjoy viewing several more climate zones on the drive home.
