Join SEE Turtles and Baja Expeditions for an outdoor adventure this fall. Your first hand participation in this trip will directly support community-based conservation of endangered sea turtles while at the same time provide an alternative income to fishing and help to train local community members in ecotourism. On this trip, you will camp on remote islands in the Sea of Cortez and Pacific oceans, kayak rich mangroves, and participate in sea turtle research.
In La Paz, you will stay at the Los Arcos hotel. On Espiritu Santo, you will stay at the Baja Expeditions tent camp, where the friendly crew and added creature comforts — such as cabin-style tents, single and double raised platform beds, comfortable bedding, and Jicara-style showers — make your days and nights in camp effortless. You’ll dine on tasty Mexican food and enjoy happy hour each evening from the cantina as sunny days turn into luminous nights filled with stars.
In Magdalena Bay, a group of local fisherman and conservationists have set up a camp under the direct coaching and supervision of Baja Expeditions.
