Tour Itinerary
Days 1-2: Caye Caulker, Barrier Reef Highlights: Naturalist-guided snorkeling, tropical islands, swimming with nurse sharks and eagle rays, explore a marine wildlife sanctuary.
Wildlife: Manatees, dolphins, nurse sharks, eagle rays and a tropical wonderland of underwater life.
Days 3-4: Mayan Ruins, Barton Creek Caves Discover the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, including an ancient pyramid with panoramic views. Canoe an underground river into a spectacular cave. Dine in San Ignacio. Exciting riverside tree house jungle lodging.
Day 5: Community Baboon Sanctuary, Wildlife Canoe Adventure, Belize River Highlights: Canoeing, hiking, wildlife viewing, bird watching, and swimming.
Wildlife: Howler monkeys, tapir, coatimundi, agouti, otter, iguanas and "Jesus Christ lizards" that walk on water. Exotic parrots, trogans, and toucans.
Head deep into the jungle where wildlife is plentiful and undisturbed. Howler monkeys are very abundant here and easy to see up close. Paddle and hike in the heart of the sanctuary and end up at a riverside jungle lodge with monkeys right outside your cabin!
Day 6: Jaguar Paw Caves Float down a jungle river in innertubes into a recently discovered cave full of Mayan artifacts, bones, petroglyphs and more! This is a unique and fun day suitable for all ages.
Enjoy a naturalist-guided moonlight hike.
Wildlife: Kinkajou, olingo, ocelot, owls, rainforest frogs,
and an entirely different world of nocturnal animals.
Day 7: Remote Jungle Wildlife Adventure, Black Creek Highlights: Remote river teeming with rare wildlife.
Wildlife: Howler monkeys, coatimundi, agouti, paca, iguanas and other mammals, plus many extremely rare birds including agami herons, royal flycatchers, boat-billed herons and more.
This is hands-down the best canoe trip in Belize! No other company runs this remote stretch of river. There are more monkeys here than anywhere in Belize! Each bend of this river is home to a new troop. Also over 300 species of exotic birds.
Highlights: Tropical wetlands lagoon.
Wildlife: Endangered Jabaru stork, with the largest wingspan of any flying bird in the Americas. Flocks of ibis, woodstork, roseate spoonbills and other exotic waterbirds roost here by the thousands.

A detailed clothing and packing list is included as a part of the predeparture information packet, which you will receive upon making your reservation. Please note that there is NO camping on any Wild Planet Belize adventure.
Reservation Policy
More than 120 days prior to departure: A deposit of $350 per person will hold your space. $150 of this amount is a non-refundable registration fee. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Within 90 days of departure: Payment in full is required at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
To maintain an intimate group size, all fees are fully non-refundable after 90 days prior to departure. If you must cancel more than 90 days prior to departure, partial refund or credit may be available, less the non-refundable registration fee of $150. No refunds are possible after 90 days prior to departure.
