Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Belize Today you will arrive independently in Belize, be met at the airport by your driver and taken to your hotel for the night. Here you will also collect your local vouchers.
Day 2: Travel to Cayo District At the appointed time, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to one of Worldwide Ecolodges' selected Macal River Nature lodges in the Cayo area, your home for the next four nights. The Cayo area is the most biologically diverse region of Belize and is fabulous for various excursions such as cave visits, exploring Mayan ruins canoeing, horseback riding, night walks and more! (B)
Day 3-5: Day Excursions from Cayo While you are at the lodge, there will be two planned and included excursions. The excursions include Caracol ruins, Xunantunich & Cahal Pech and Butterfly Farm Tour. At the lodge you will have a great opportunity to view birds and wildlife in a more remote, natural setting. There are free daily guided outings to observe the forest life.
Day 6: Return to Belize Today it is time to retrace your steps back to Belize city where you may continue on to other destinations.
